Description of the Operation

The GVA department manages the municipality's streets, water and sewage facilities, and waste management.

We are a group of 15 year-round employees and are reinforced during the summer months with seasonal workers. The tasks are varied, and there is ample room for personal initiative and responsibility.

Your Assignment

As an installer, you will work with the maintenance of the municipality's water and sewage facilities. This may involve renewing pipes, wells, and valves at street excavations. Marking of pipes and leak detection are also common tasks, as well as maintaining the municipality's street lighting.

Sometimes urgent work arises, such as repairs of water leaks, which may require work during inconvenient hours, but otherwise, working hours are scheduled on weekdays between 7 AM and 4 PM.

On-call work is included in the position, and you will be on call for about 5 weeks per year, with compensation according to agreement.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Your Competence and Experience

You have:

  • Driving license C
  • Documented experience in laying water and sewage pipes.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Loader operator certificate,
  • Training in food hygiene,
  • Work on roads
